Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 ounces bacon,(3 slices)
  • 7 ounces cooked white rice,(1 cup)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, minced
  • 1/16 teaspoon salt
  • 1/6 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Chop the bacon into small pieces.

  • Step 2: In a dry hot wok fry the bacon until crispy.

  • Step 3: Remove the bacon to a bowl for later.

  • Step 4: Save all but 1 tablespoon grease and heat remaining grease to smoke point.

  • Step 5: Add the rice to the wok, stir immediately and continuously .

  • Step 6: Add back in the bacon keep the rice moving.

  • Step 7: Make a well in the centre of the rice and crack in the egg.

  • Step 8: Scramble the egg immediately and stir into the rice and bacon.

  • Step 9: Add the spring onion and sesame oil.

  • Step 10: Season to taste
