Step 3: Add lamb
Step 4: Brown
Step 5: Add onions
Step 6: Cook until translucent
Step 7: Add garlic
Step 8: Add beer
Step 9: Add stock
Step 10: Add bay leaf and thyme
Step 11: Simmer an hour until meat is tender
Step 12: Add veggies
Step 13: Simmer 30 minutes more adding water as needed
Step 14: Last 5 minutes mix butter and flour
Step 15: Add to stew cook until thickened
Step 16: Take out Bay leaf
Step 17: Season to taste
Step 18: Stir in parsley
