Step 3: Drain saving 1/2 cup pasta water
Step 4: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 5: Add the mushrooms and cook until softened, about 4 minutes.
Step 6: Add the garlic and green onions.
Step 7: Season with salt and pepper.
Step 8: Continue to cook, stirring, about 1 minute.
Step 9: Sprinkle the flour into the pan and stir.
Step 10: Add the milk and stir.
Step 11: Bring to a gentle simmer and cook about 5 minutes.
Step 12: Adding pasta water if needed when you add noodles
Step 13: Turn the heat off and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
Step 14: Add the spaghetti noodles and toss to combine. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley
