  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • ½ teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 8 ounces heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato,diced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Pam spray 9x13 casserole

  • Step 3: Season the schnitzel with salt, pepper and paprika

  • Step 4: To taste

  • Step 5: Fry briefly on both sides in hot oil.

  • Step 6: Place the meat in a buttered casserole dish.

  • Step 7: Clean the peppers and cut into strips.

  • Step 8: Peel the onion and cut into rings.

  • Step 9: Peel and crush the garlic.

  • Step 10: Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the onion rings and pepper strips in it.

  • Step 11: Stir in the crushed garlic, diced tomatoes and tomato paste.

  • Step 12: Add more of the spices and taste.

  • Step 13: Deglaze with broth

  • Step 14: Add cream.

  • Step 15: Allow this mixture to cook through briefly and pour over the schnitzel.

  • Step 16: Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and leave to cook in the oven for 30 minutes.
