Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Dough
  • 1 8oz pkg cream cheese
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • .5 cup margarine or butter
  • Filling
  • 1 pound mushrooms, minced
  • 1 large onion, minced
  • 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • .25 cup sour cream
  • .25 teaspoon thyme
  • .5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten

How to Make

  • Step 1: Dough

  • Step 2: Blend all ingredients in a mixer

  • Step 3: Form into a ball and refrigerate for 1 hour

  • Step 4: Filling

  • Step 5: Sauté mushrooms and onion in margarine or butter

  • Step 6: When cooked, add sour cream, thyme and salt

  • Step 7: Roll dough out to .25 inch thickness

  • Step 8: Cut 8n 3 inch circles

  • Step 9: Fill with 1 teaspoon filling which has been drained slightly

  • Step 10: Brush edges with egg, fold and seal by pressing edge with a fork

  • Step 11: Pierce top in 2-3 places and Brush with egg

  • Step 12: Bake at 400° F for 10- 20 minutes
