Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 12 ounces dry spaghetti noodles
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Sauce:
  • 8 ounces bacon,(8 slices)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, smashed
  • 1 can(15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup barbeque sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can(10 ounces) rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons pickled jalapeno slices
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese , shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water al dente

  • Step 2: Drain

  • Step 3: Meanwhile

  • Step 4: Fry bacon

  • Step 5: Remove

  • Step 6: Add ground beef and onion

  • Step 7: Cook until onions translucent and beef is crumbled

  • Step 8: Drain grease

  • Step 9: Add garlic

  • Step 10: Add tomato sauce ,beans and tomatoes

  • Step 11: Rinse cans with pasta water (1/4 cup)

  • Step 12: Add BBQ sauce

  • Step 13: Season to taste

  • Step 14: Simmer while pasta cooking

  • Step 15: Crumble some bacon into sauce and reduce sauce a bit more

  • Step 16: When spaghetti is drained

  • Step 17: Add to sauce and cook until coats pasta

  • Step 18: Add cheese and rest of bacon on top

  • Step 19: Add green onions and jalapenos

  • Step 20: Turn off stove and cover until cheese melts you can put in casserole and run under broiler but why ? Lol
