Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups milk (I use 2%)
  • 8-oz sour cream
  • 4-oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 can 10.5-oz condensed Broccoli Cheese soup
  • 2 boxes (5-oz each) cheesy au gratin potatoes
  • 2 cups diced cooked ham
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (more or less, as needed)
  • Seasoned salt, to taste (optional)
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Spray a 4-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine the milk, sour cream, cream cheese, soup and contents of the seasoning packets from the boxed potatoes; blend well. Add the remaining ingredients (except the boiling water and the parsley); mix well. Pour mixture into the sprayed slow cooker. Pour boiling water over the potato mixture; stir to mix.

  • Step 2: Cover; cook on low setting for 7 to 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours. Garnish with parsley, optional. (All slow cookers are different; when the mixture is creamy and the potatoes are tender, they're done. They hold for along time on warm, too).
