Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 pounds ground beef, (80% lean)
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup onion,diced
  • 1 cup celery ,diced
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper,diced
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup italian salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup finely ground cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt,to taste
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper ,to taste
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Lightly grease (Pam spray) a shallow, large baking pan.

  • Step 3: In a large bowl

  • Step 4: Combine all ingredients.

  • Step 5: Mix well.

  • Step 6: In baking pan, firmly shape meat mixture into a 7-by-3 1/2 -by-3 1/2-inch loaf.

  • Step 7: Cover loosely with foil.

  • Step 8: Bake 1 hour (until temperature of 155 degrees is reached on a meat thermometer inserted into center of meatloaf).

  • Step 9: Remove foil and brown additional 5 minutes.
