Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 ounces bacon,(6 strips)
  • 1/2 cup onions, minced
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 7 ounces dry white rice,(1 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Fry bacon in a pan then remove the bacon

  • Step 2: Brown a minced onion in the bacon grease.

  • Step 3: Next, add diced tomatoes.

  • Step 4: After it is hot, add rice and water to the mixture, and cook slowly until the rice is done.(20 minutes covered)

  • Step 5: (Season to taste wasn't in recipe but everyone knew you did)
