  • 3 pounds italian sausage links,(6)
  • 6 ounces mozzarella cheese sticks,(6)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 16 ounces mushrooms, sliced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F

  • Step 2: Pam spray a 9x13 casserole

  • Step 3: Make a slice down one side of each of the 6 sausages, cutting about halfway into the sausage but not all the way through.

  • Step 4: Place a mozzarella stick into each cut, then using your hands, gently press sausage back into shape.

  • Step 5: Pour marinara into the bottom of a baking dish and spread out.

  • Step 6: Add mushrooms

  • Step 7: Arrange sausages in the baking dish, cut side up. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.

  • Step 8: Uncover and bake 10 minutes more, until sausages are cooked through and cheese is bubbly
