Step 1: In 5-quart saucepan
Step 2: Saute onion in oil until golden.
Step 3: Stir in carrots, chicken broth, tomatoes, chili sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.
Step 4: Mash half of beans with fork
Step 5: Add mashed beans and whole beans to soup.
Step 6: Blend well.
Step 7: Bring to a boil.
Step 8: Cover.
Step 9: Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes or until carrots are tender.
Step 10: Stir in SPAM and parsley.
Step 11: Simmer 10 minutes.
