Step 9: And mix until evenly distributed
Step 10: Remove the dough from the bowl, flatten the dough and cover
Step 11: Leave to rest for approximately 30 minutes
Step 12: Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2.5 centimeters and cut to desired shape
Step 13: Rest the scones for another 20 minutes
Step 14: Gently egg wash the top of the scones
Step 15: Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown
Step 16: Cool before serving with jam and clotted cream
