Step 1: Get all ingredients ready
Step 2: In large bowl
Step 3: Mix sugar ,salt and sifted cocoa well.
Step 4: In a Pam sprayed heavy bottomed saucepan
Step 5: Bring water to boil over high heat.
Step 6: Reduce heat to medium and add cocoa mixture. Cook to soft-ball stage of about 10 minutes.
Step 7: Stirring constantly never leave
Step 8: Reduce heat to low and add butter and vanilla.
Step 9: Stir until butter melts.
Step 10: Remove the pan from the heat and quickly add peanut butter.
Step 11: Stir just until blended.
Step 12: Pour immediately into a heavily greased Pam sprayed 9x9 inch baking pan.
Step 13: Score 1 inch squares while warm.
Step 14: Let cool about 20 minutes and cut when firm.
