  • Potato:
  • 6 pound potatoes, peeled, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Topping:
  • 1 jar (32 ounces)sauerkraut
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces bacon ,(8 slices)
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1/4 cup green olives

How to Make

  • Step 1: Potato:

  • Step 2: Place potatoes in season to taste dot with butter,real butter

  • Step 3: Seal and bake in a Pam sprayed 13 x 9 baking pan for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 350 Degrees.

  • Step 4: Serve 8 ounces of potatoes in bowl

  • Step 5: Seasoning to taste

  • Step 6: Topping:

  • Step 7: 2 tablespoons hot sauerkraut on one side,(they use Frank's sauerkraut)

  • Step 8: 2 tablespoons Shredded Cheese on other

  • Step 9: Cooked Bacon crumbled over both sides

  • Step 10: Dollop of sour cream

  • Step 11: Top with a green olive
