Step 1: Pie crust
Step 2: Mix dry ingredients cut in shortening
Step 3: Add water
Step 4: Divide in half
Step 5: Roll out on floured board
Step 6: Place bottom in pie pan
Step 7: Mix flour and spices
Step 8: Mix with apples
Step 9: Pour on top of pie crust
Step 10: Dot with butter
Step 11: Place top crust on mash edges with fork
Step 12: Slash holes in top so steam escapes
Step 13: Bake at 425 degrees F for 45 minutes may have to wrap tin foil around edges
Step 14: Pie should be golden brown
