Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound dry macaroni
  • 6 cups water, boiling
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 ounces muenster cheese,(1/2 cup), shredded
  • 4 ounces mild cheddar cheese,(1/2 cup), shredded
  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese,(1/2 cup ),shredded
  • 4 ounces monterey jack cheese,(1/2 cup), shredded
  • 16 ounces light cream, (half-and-half),(2 cups)
  • 8 ounces velveeta cheese, cubed,(1 cup)
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350degrees F

  • Step 2: Lightly butter a deep 2 1/2 quart baking dish.

  • Step 3: Pam spray it

  • Step 4: Fill a large pot with water and bring to a rapid boil.

  • Step 5: Add macaroni and the 1 tablespoon oil.

  • Step 6: Cook for 7 minutes, or until somewhat tender.

  • Step 7: Drain well, and return to the pot.

  • Step 8: Meanwhile

  • Step 9: In a small saucepan, melt 8 tablespoons of the butter.

  • Step 10: Stir into macaroni.

  • Step 11: In a large bowl

  • Step 12: Combine all of the shredded cheeses.

  • Step 13: To the macaroni

  • Step 14: Add 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheeses, half and half, the cubed cheese and the eggs, and the seasoned salt and pepper,to taste

  • Step 15: Transfer to the prepared casserole dish, and top with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese.

  • Step 16: Dot with remaining 1 tablespoon of the butter.

  • Step 17: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and bubbly.

  • Step 18: Serve hot.
