Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 head of green cabbage, cut into 4 wedges
  • 1 pound potatoes, unpeeled and scubbed, quarter if necessary
  • 2 teaspoons beef bouillon or same of cubes
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 pound knockwurst

How to Make

  • Step 1: Dissolve beef bouillon in 2 cups water, set aside.

  • Step 2: Arrange cabbage, potatoes in a skillet on top of stove and add dissolved bouillon, caraway, salt pepper and thyme.

  • Step 3: Cover and bring to a simmer for 20 minutes, then add knockwurst and cover again for 5 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Serve.
