Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (lowfat works here too)
  • 1 can (10 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons melted butter
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons dried parsley

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  • Step 2: In an iron skillet, crumble beef and sprinkle with seasoned salt. Cook beef until no longer pink, then add chopped onions and continue cooking until meat is browned. Add garlic and cook a couple minutes longer.

  • Step 3: Add 1 cup milk, soup, and cream cheese to skillet and stir until cheese melts and all is combined. Then stir in Worcestershire sauce and ketchup.

  • Step 4: In a separate bowl, combine biscuit mix and 1/2 cup milk and stir.

  • Step 5: Drop biscuit dough on top of meat mixture in small biscuit-sized balls (5-7 biscuits), then paint biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley.

  • Step 6: Place skillet in the oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until biscuits are golden.
