Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 gluten free bun (I use the UDI's brand)
  • 12 to 16 ounces cooked roast pork, sliced thin
  • 2 cups roast pork dripping (Can used store bought pork broth)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 heaping tablespoon corn starch
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Pour the dripping into a pot, add bay leaf and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, heat the sliced pork roast in microwave for a few minutes until warm.

  • Step 3: Whisk together the corn starch and water and pour into the boiling liquid a bit at a time while stirring.

  • Step 4: Remove and discard bay leaf and remove gravy from burner.

  • Step 5: Heat the bun in the microwave until soft, about 25 to 30 seconds.

  • Step 6: Place half of a bun in each plate, top with meat and pour 1/2 cup gravy over meat; sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 7: Enjoy!
