  • 1 1/2 pounds whole chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Lay the wings out on a sheet pan and place in the fridge for at least one hour.

  • Step 2: Heat the oven to 450° Fahrenheit.

  • Step 3: In a bowl, mix together everything except the wings and oil.

  • Step 4: Take the chicken out of the fridge and brush them or rub them all over with the oil. Use more oil if needed.

  • Step 5: Rub the spice mix all over both sides of the Wings.

  • Step 6: On a baking sheet, bake the chicken for 35 to 40 minutes. No need to turn them over. The skin should be crispy and golden brown in color.
