Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (8 ounces) provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 package (6 ounces) cheddar cheese , sliced
  • 1 package (6 ounces) pepper jack cheese ,sliced
  • 1 package (8 ounces) sliced dry salami
  • 1 package (8 ounces) round crackers
  • 1 green pear
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 pretzel stick

How to Make

  • Step 1: Stack delli meat in piles

  • Step 2: Cut deli products each stack into quarters

  • Step 3: On a 14”or larger platter or cutting board

  • Step 4: ,l start arranging pieces of provolone in an arc around the top three quarters of the platter. Continue with the cheddar, about a ½” below the provolone, overlapping rows.

  • Step 5: Continue with the remaining cheese slices and salami until you fill the platter making a fan, stacking cheese and salami as needed.

  • Step 6: Tuck round crackers under the first row of provolone, overlapping.

  • Step 7: Place any remaining crackers in a serving basket.

  • Step 8: Stem and cut pear in half, top to bottom.

  • Step 9: Reserve one half for another use.

  • Step 10: Place pear half in center of fan

  • Step 11: Place 2 cloves for eyes

  • Step 12: Nip a corner of cheese for beak

  • Step 13: Make wattle from Salami

  • Step 14: Break pretzels for legs
