Step 3: Meanwhile next day
Step 4: In stock pot heat oil add beef shank that you have lightly seasoned
Step 5: Brown on all sides
Step 6: Add onion cook until translucent
Step 7: Add spices
Step 8: Add beef broth
Step 9: Cook for 2 hours
Step 10: Add drained beans and rest of ingredients except parsley
Step 11: Simmer for 90 minutes adding water as needed
Step 12: Last 5 minutes add parsley
