  • 2 large garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons hot sauce, your choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound lean ground pork
  • 3 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • 6 ounces bread buns (4 hamburger buns)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together all the ingredients except the buns. Handle the meat gently and do not over handle.

  • Step 2: Form into 3 or 4 patties

  • Step 3: In a lightly greased pan cook the burgers for 4 minutes, flip the burgers, turn heat to medium, continue cookingfor a further 4-6 minutes or until the burger is cooked to your liking

  • Step 4: Toast your bun, add whatever condiments you enjoy on your burger.
