  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons shortening
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine broth ingredients

  • Step 2: Simmer 60 minutes until chicken is falling off bone

  • Step 3: Take chicken out take off skin and bones ,chop chicken

  • Step 12: Knead for 5 minutes (until dough combined)

  • Step 13: With the dough ready, roll it out until it’s about a half-inch thick.

  • Step 14: From there, cut it into an inch to inch-and-a-half pieces

  • Step 15: This point, that broth should be boiling.

  • Step 16: Drop the dumplings into the broth, cover your pot and cook for ten minutes until dumplings float
