Step 1: Stockpot ,
Step 2: Add broth, boullion,spices, celery, onion, and chicken breasts.
Step 3: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, partially covered, for about 15 minutes,
Step 4: Until the chicken breast is cooked through.
Step 5: While the chicken is cooking
Step 6: Prepare the dumplings:
Step 7: In a medium mixing bowl
Step 8: Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 9: Stir in the milk just until combined into a shaggy dough.
Step 10: Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and roll to about 1/4 inch thickness.
Step 11: Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into strips or squares about 1 to 2 inches in size.
Step 12: Once the chicken is cooked through
Step 13: Remove it to a cutting board.
Step 14: Remove the onion chunk and celery pieces and discard.(use in a veggie dish)
Step 15: Add the dough strips to the simmering broth and simmer for about 30 minutes
Step 16: Stirring occasionally, allowing the dumplings to cook and the broth to thicken to a gravy-like consistency.
Step 17: While the dumplings are simmering, chop chicken and return to the pot.
Step 18: Add salt and pepper to taste,
