  • 3/4 cups cornstarch
  • 1/4 cups chicken bouillon powder (instant)
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.

  • Step 2: To use for substitute for one 10-1/2 ounce can condensed soup; mix 1/3 cup of dry mix with 1 1/4 cup water in saucepan.

  • Step 3: Cook and stir until thickened.

  • Step 4: Add 1 tablespoon butter, if desired (this will add 11.5 grams fat)
