Step 1: In large cast iron skillet over medium-high.
Step 2: Add hot dog and ham and cook, turning one time, until lightly charred and warmed through, about 4 minutes for the hot dogs and 1 minute for the ham. Set aside on a plate.
Step 3: Open sides up on bun, and spread both sides lightly with mustard and top with Swiss cheese sliced in half.
Step 4: Add hot dogs, pickles on either side
Step 5: , and ham to the bottom half of each bread.
Step 6: Close sandwiches and press down.
Step 7: Spread butter all over the outside of the bun and return to skillet
Step 8: Brown both sides
