Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup Smart Balance spread (you could also use butter)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 pound raw shrimp, deveined and tails off
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 medium roma tomato, diced
  • 1 (9 ounce) box chopped frozen asparagus, thawed and drained
  • 3 to 4 ounces whole wheat angel hair pasta

How to Make

  • Step 1: Boil pasta in medium saucepan for 7-8 minutes.

  • Step 2: While pasta boils, melt Smart Balance and olive oil in a medium pan over low heat. Add garlic and stir, cooking over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add shrimp and seasoned salt, and cook shrimp in Smart Balance and oil mixture just until pink, being careful not to overcook.

  • Step 4: Stir in tomatoes and asparagus well enough to coat with the sauce.

  • Step 5: Pour over drained pasta and mix well.
