The ingredients are:
  • 1 pan (8 ounces) cooked cornbread
  • 1 can (15 ounces) corn, drained
  • 2 cans (30 ounces)stewed tomatoes,(15 ounces each)
  • 1 can (15 ounces) peas,drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound canned ham,cut into 1 inch squares
  • 8 bell peppers,cored
  • 8 ounces bacon ,(8 strips)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: PreHeat oven to 350 degrees F

  • Step 2: Parboil bell peppers for 8 minutes

  • Step 3: Butter and Pam spray a 9x13 casserole

  • Step 4: Crumble cornbread into a large mixing bowl

  • Step 5: Add corn, tomatoes, & peas, mix

  • Step 6: Season to taste

  • Step 7: Add cubed ham, mix

  • Step 8: Stuff mixture into Bell peppers

  • Step 9: Place in Pam sprayed baking dish.

  • Step 10: Spoon excess stuffing around Bell peppers.

  • Step 11: Place bacon strips on each Bell pepper.

  • Step 12: Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees F
