Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • ¼ cup onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons green bell pepper, minced
  • 1/4 ounce cooked shrimp, peeled,(4), chopped
  • 1/4 ounce cooked chicken,diced
  • 1/4 ounce cooked beef ,1/8 inch thick, 1 inch wide 1½ inches long
  • Egg mixture:
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Sandwich:
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces white bread,(4 slices)
  • 2 iceberg lettuce leaf
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 8 dill pickle slices

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a 6-inch skillet

  • Step 2: Sauté the onion and green pepper over medium heat until the onion is translucent.

  • Step 3: Add bean sprouts

  • Step 4: Add the shrimp, chicken and beef and then the egg-cornstarch mixture

  • Step 5: Cook, stirring constantly, until the egg is scrambled.

  • Step 6: Divide between 2 mayonnaise smeared slices of bread

  • Step 7: Smear mayonnaise on other slices of bread and layer pickles tomato and lettuce

  • Step 8: Wrap wax paper around sandwich
