  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 package (3 ounces) vanilla cook & serve pudding mix
  • 4 ounces instant white rice, uncooked,(1 cup)
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat egg with wire whisk in large saucepan. Gradually add milk, beating until well blended.

  • Step 2: Start heating on low heat

  • Step 3: Add dry pudding mix

  • Step 4: Whisking constantly

  • Step 5: Stir 2 minutes or until well blended.

  • Step 6: Stir in rice and raisins.

  • Step 7: Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly.

  • Step 8: Remove from heat.

  • Step 9: Add butter

  • Step 10: Whisk

  • Step 11: Cool 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 12: Top with cinnamon And nutmeg

  • Step 13: Chill

  • Step 14: Put plastic over top so skin doesn't form
