  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/4 cup toasted pecans or walnuts, chopped if desired

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Line 10 inch pie plate (deep) with pie crust, fluting the edges as desired.

  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, whip butter, sugars, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla and bourbon together until frothy.

  • Step 4: Fold in chocolate chips and nuts; blend well.

  • Step 5: Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until set.
