Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (7-1/4 ounce) macaroni & cheese dinner (Kraft)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 can (14-1/2 ounce) Italian-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (Kraft)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400ºF.

  • Step 2: In a large pan prepare macaroni and cheese dinner according to package directions omitting the butter.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet add the lean ground beef and cook on medium-high heat. Drain well and add the tomatoes and oregano mixing well to combine. Bring ground beef mixture to a boil.

  • Step 4: Add the ground beef to the macaroni and cheese, stir carefully. Spoon mixture into a 9-inch square baking dish and sprinkle the cheddar cheese over top. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and the casserole is heated through.
