The ingredients are:
  • 1/8 cup gochujang sauce
  • 1/8 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, drained

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together the gochujang, soy sauce, garlic, honey, and water.

  • Step 2: Set aside.

  • Step 3: In a large skillet on medium high heat, add in the olive oil.

  • Step 4: Once it’s heated up, add in the onions and and stir for 3 minutes.

  • Step 5: Add in the chickpeas and stir to combine before adding in the sauce that was set aside earlier.

  • Step 6: Reduce the heat and let everything cook together for 10 minutes, stirring every so often.
