Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup loosely packed golden raisins
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
  • 1 pound Lacinato kale, stemmed and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute the shallots in olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium high heat for 4 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add the kale and cook 3 minutes or until the kale wilts. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
