Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon apricot preserves
  • 16 ounces pork chops, bone In,(4)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 400ºF

  • Step 2: Spray a baking dish with pan spray.

  • Step 3: In a saucepan

  • Step 4: Over med-high heat, heat oil.

  • Step 5: Add onion and cook until translucent.

  • Step 6: Blend in flour, brown sugar, curry powder, salt and cinnamon.

  • Step 7: Add bouillon cube, water, ketchup, applesauce, and apricot preserves and bring to a boil.

  • Step 8: Reduce heat and allow glaze to simmer for 5 min. Dip Pork chops

  • Step 9: One at a time, into glaze to coat well and arrange on a baking dish.

  • Step 10: Reserve rest of glaze.

  • Step 11: Bake pork chops for 20 minutes(30 minutes)

  • Step 12: (I would cover)

  • Step 13: Spoon remaining glaze over pork chops and bake for 20 more minutes( 35 minutes) until tender
