  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 2/3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 bananas,ripe
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for the top

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt pan.

  • Step 3: Spray pam in it heavily

  • Step 4: In a large mixing bowl

  • Step 5: Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda

  • Step 6: In another mixing bowl

  • Step 7: Beat butter and sugar

  • Step 8: Add bananas

  • Step 9: Add eggs and beat well, about 2 minutes.

  • Step 10: Add dry ingredients

  • Step 11: Beat until smooth

  • Step 12: In large measuring cup

  • Step 13: Add milk, vanilla and lemon juice and stir.

  • Step 14: Add to batter and beat well.

  • Step 15: Pour into prepared pan.

  • Step 16: Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.

  • Step 17: Let cool in pan for 10 minutes.

  • Step 18: With a thin sharp knife, carefully loosen edges. Invert pan onto serving plate and let cool completely.

  • Step 19: Dust with sifted powered sugar.
