Step 1: Skillet on the stove top, brown ground beef
Step 2: Add sesame oil
Step 3: Add chopped onion, ginger and garlic, saute.
Step 4: After you saute the beef with the onion, ginger and garlic, add the broth, tomato sauce, salt and pepper,to taste
Step 5: Add granulated sugar and soy sauce.
Step 6: Simmer for about 10 minutes.
Step 7: To thicken it,
Step 8: Use the cornstarch with chicken broth.(I used water)
Step 9: Allow to thicken
Step 10: Meanwhile boil in heavily salted water a pound of vermicelli.
Step 11: Drain.
Step 12: Add the chopped scallions last to the sauce reserving some for the green tops for garnish.
Step 13: In a large pasta bowl
Step 14: Add the pasta, pour the sauce over it, and add the remaining chopped green scallion tops as garnish.
