Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Filling:
  • 1 can(12 ounces) evaporated milk, chilled
  • 3 lemons,juiced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Crust:
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups graham crackers, (about 9-10)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a food processor crush the crackers.

  • Step 2: Add the melted butter, vanilla

  • Step 3: And 3 Tablespoons sugar.

  • Step 4: Pulsate a few times and then whirl until some type of loose paste forms.

  • Step 5: Place the cracker mix into a 9" pie pan.

  • Step 6: Press the crust down with a spoon .

  • Step 7: Set aside.

  • Step 8: It should have taken about a cup to make the crust, so the rest can be used for garnish.

  • Step 9: Beat cold milk until thick, then add lemon juice and 1 cup sugar.

  • Step 10: Pour mixture into pie pan, sprinkle the rest of the graham crumbs over top, and chill in freezer until firm enough to the cut into pieces.
