Step 1: In a bowl
Step 2: Combine shortening and sugar until blended.
Step 3: Add in eggs and beat with electric mixer on low until smooth.
Step 4: Gradually add in remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly until forming a smooth batter.
Step 5: Grease a 4-inch by 8-inch bread pan and add batter. Cover with foil
Step 6: Place in bottom of the Crock Pot stoneware, and add water around bread pan.
Step 7: Place stoneware in slow cooker heating base, cover, and cook on High for 3-4 hours, until bread is firm and toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Step 8: Remove and let cool,
Step 9: Then take bread out of pan
