Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 3 pounds potato, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 ounces sour cream,(1/3 cup)
  • 8 ounces white cheddar cheese, shredded,(1 cup)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large stock pot

  • Step 2: Brown ground beef and onion

  • Step 3: Add carrots and potatoes

  • Step 4: Add garlic

  • Step 5: Drain if needed

  • Step 6: Add tomato paste cook a bit

  • Step 7: Add stock

  • Step 8: Add herbs and seasoning

  • Step 9: Simmer 45 minutes stirring occasionally

  • Step 10: Add more water if needed

  • Step 11: At 55 minutes add peas

  • Step 12: Stir

  • Step 13: Cook 5 minutes more

  • Step 14: Turn off heat and add butter cheese and Sour cream stir cover let set 5 minutes so cheese can melt

  • Step 15: Check seasoning and add more salt or pepper
