Step 2: DO NOT BROWN THE GROUND BEEF.
Step 3: This is what makes the texture so fine.
Step 4: Cook over medium low heat until meat is browned stirring frequently.
Step 5: Place bay leaves on top.
Step 6: Cover and simmer on low heat for 3 hours.
Step 7: Stir occasionally.
Step 8: Remove bay leaves.
Step 9: Skim fat from top.
Step 10: Serve over cooked Al dente spaghetti noodles.
