Step 11: Add beef broth to deglaze pan
Step 12: In the crockpot
Step 13: Layer the potatoes, carrots, celery, beef and onion mixture, and mushrooms.
Step 14: Pour in hot beef broth & paprika, and worcestershire sauce.
Step 15: Mix 3 tablespoons butter and 3 tablespoons seasoned flour
Step 16: Cover and cook on low for 7 and a half hours.
Step 17: While the stew is cooking, hollow out sourdough bread bowl.
Step 18: Use the hollowed out portion and toothpicks to create ears on the bread bowl.
Step 19: At end mix in butter flour roux
Step 20: Ten minutes before serving, stir in the bag of thawed frozen peas and carrots.
Step 21: Check seasoning
Step 22: Serve in the prepared bread bowl.
