  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/4 cups grits
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 6 ounces plain greek yogurt
  • 2 ounces parmesan cheese,(1/4 cup ),grated
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded (1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring the broth, pepper and butter to a boil in a medium-sized pot.

  • Step 2: Add the grits stirring with a whisk vigorously

  • Step 3: Reduce to a simmer.

  • Step 4: Cook the grits for 20 minutes, stirring frequently.

  • Step 5: Remove grits from heat and add Greek yogurt, parmesan and cheddar cheese.

  • Step 6: Stir in chives
