Step 2: Sift dry ingredients into large bowl
Step 3: Cut in lard
Step 4: Mix in buttermilk
Step 5: Turn out onto bench floured counter
Step 6: Roll out to 1/2 inch thick
Step 7: Dip 2 inch water glass in flour
Step 8: Cut out biscuits
Step 9: Bake 20 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet until golden brown
