Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1⁄2 cups flour
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1⁄2 cups semisweet mint chocolate chips
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar,sifted,for dusting

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine flour, baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt,

  • Step 2: Whisk

  • Step 3: Set aside.

  • Step 4: In a saucepan

  • Step 5: Heat 1 cup of chocolate chips over low heat until melted, stirring constantly.(I think you could microwave it)

  • Step 6: Beat butter with a mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds.

  • Step 7: Beat in granulated sugar until combined.

  • Step 8: Add in melted chocolate, eggs, vanilla, and mint flavoring.

  • Step 9: Mix until combined.

  • Step 10: Stir in flour mixture and remaining chocolate pieces.

  • Step 11: Wrap dough in plastic wrap.

  • Step 12: Freeze 30 minutes or until firm enough to shape.

  • Step 13: Preheat oven to 350°F

  • Step 14: Shape dough into 1" balls

  • Step 15: Roll balls in powdered sugar.

  • Step 16: Place balls about 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

  • Step 17: Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until tops are crackled.

  • Step 18: Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet.

  • Step 19: Roll in powdered sugar again

  • Step 20: Transfer to wire racks

  • Step 21: Cool.
