Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Noodles:
  • 8 cups water
  • 1/2 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 8 ounces dry spaghetti
  • Sauce:
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 pound ham, sliced
  • 2 ounces bacon,(2 strips), chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: Boil spaghetti in heavily salted boiling water

  • Step 2: Cook until Al dente

  • Step 3: Drain saving

  • Step 4: 1/2 cup water

  • Step 5: Meanwhile

  • Step 6: Heat oil and Bacon

  • Step 7: Add Bell pepper onions and mushrooms

  • Step 8: Saute until tender but crisp

  • Step 9: Add ham that is bite size pieces

  • Step 10: Mix in drained noodles

  • Step 11: Add ketchup mixed with soy sauce

  • Step 12: Toss adding pasta water

  • Step 13: Cook a bit

  • Step 14: Seasoning to taste

  • Step 15: Toss in parsley

  • Step 16: Can add a dash of Tabasco if you wish
