Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 24 ounces salmon, cut into 4 fillets of about 6 ounces each
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a shallow dish place the salmon fillets and then add the milk; turn to coat and let stand for 10 minutes; drain.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile in a pie dish or shallow dish combine the next 5 ingredients (pecans - pepper). Dip fillets in mixture, coating both sides, pressing mixture into fish.

  • Step 3: In a cast iron skillet over medium high heat add the oil and then brown the salmon on both sides. Place in oven at 400 degrees F and bake for 8-10 minutes or until fish begins to flake with a fork and is done.
