Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups asparagus, fresh, cut in 2-inch lengths
  • 1 can (10 3/4ounce) cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, grated,(2 cups)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (2 7/8ounce)french fried onion rings

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  • Step 2: Heat asparagus in microwave with damp towel 3 minutes

  • Step 3: Butter and Pam spray casserole dish.

  • Step 4: Put a layer of asparagus on bottom then add soup.

  • Step 5: Next add mushrooms and half the cheese.

  • Step 6: Season to taste

  • Step 7: Add second layer of asparagus and end with a layer of cheese.

  • Step 8: Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle onion rings on top and return to oven for 5 minutes more.

  • Step 9: Serve hot.
