Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 box(8 1/2 ounces)corn muffin mix
  • 1 package(6 ounce) mexican cornbread mix
  • 1 can(15 ounce)creamed corn
  • 1⁄2 cup milk
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can(4 ounce)mild green chilies,diced
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded,(1 cup)
  • 4 ounces monterey jack pepper cheese, shredded,(1 cup)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven 400 degrees F

  • Step 2: Fry ground beef

  • Step 3: Add onions

  • Step 4: Add garlic

  • Step 5: Drain if needed

  • Step 6: Mix green chilis into ground beef.

  • Step 7: In a separate bowl

  • Step 8: Mix Jiffy cornbread and mexican cornbread with 2 eggs and cream corn, then add milk starting with about 1/2 cup just enough to mix and have a thick textured batter.

  • Step 9: Pour 1/2 of the cornbread mix into a 9x13 Pam sprayed casserole

  • Step 10: Pour ground beef on top of batter and top with both cheeses, then pour remaining batter onto that.

  • Step 11: Bake in oven for 25-35 minutes
